3,5% Campaign - Spring starts with you!

This spring brings us a new fundraising campaign, involving the fiscal redistribution programme for 2% of the taxes charged for the last fiscal year. From our experience, we know very well that every procentage counts, no matter how small it is. Even more these 3,5% can represent a very needed support for the Iosif Foundation`s projects, that concern helping disadvantaged children that are in risk of abandoning their studies.

We invite you to join our cause by finding out more about the benefits of the 3,5% programme. Here are some answers to the questions regarding the development of the campaign.

What is 3,5%?

The 3,5% tax transparency is a mechanism through which individual taxpayers may allocate up to 3,5% of their income tax to a non-governmental organization (association or foundation). As in previous years, the Tax Code provides taxpayers the 3,5% mechanism through which 3,5% of their income tax due for 2019 can be offered to a non-profit entity (association or foundation). According to the Ministry of Finance, the way this mechanism is being implemented remained the same and the taxpayer must complete Form 230 (for income originating from salaries) or 200 (for income from other sources) and submit them to the tax office they belong to until the 30th June this year.

Who can redirect 3,5%?

Any person residing in Romania, who has received income from salaries and other similar sources (commercial revenue, professional services, intellectual property, use of property disposal operations, the sale of foreign currency, etc) in the previous fiscal year (in this case its the year 2019).
Why Donate 2%?

� The amount of money that represent 3,5% is part of the tax that you have already payed in the previous fiscal year. You have the right to choose which charity you want to receive that amount of money that has already been deducted or you can choose to do nothing.

� Referring the 3,5 percent tax makes you an actor involved in solving community problems. And you have a say in the way you want your 3,5% to be used. Why not do it?

� It doesnt cost you anything!

� You may not know it, but your gesture counts! A child at risk can have a much better fate. What do you say, do you want to be part of its destiny?

Why 3,5% for the Joseph Foundation?

� We are an organization with 25 years of experience in Iasi community in supporting children in need.

� Currently, we support children at risk of school dropout. We offer counseling, individual and group therapy, vocational counseling , after-school services, assistance in addressing social situations and ensuring regular clothing, shoes, school supplies, hygiene materials.

Did we convince you? If yes, then here are some simple steps to redirect 3,5% towards the Joseph Foundation!

- Fill Form 230 (in Section 1 complete your personal data, then sign in the "Signature taxpayer"). Also, for other income (other than salary) you can download Form 200, too. Read the guidance on completing the form.
- Submit a copy of the completed form (a copy keep it to yourself) until the 25th of May 2014 using the following options:

1. Direct to the Public Finance in your area of residence (Public Finance Administration in most cases). Go with the signed form and deposit it. Youll get a registration number on your copy and thats it.

3. Mail the form to our office: Str. Dacia no. 21 (Decebal-Cantemir district), city of Iasi, Iasi County, Post Code 700259.

4. If our office is close to where you live, you can visit us personally to our office and we can take the form from you or we can offer you a form to complete on the spot.

5. Download the form, print it and send a scanned copy of the form completed and signed to us through e-mail (office@fundatiaiosif.ro). We will take care of submitting this form to the right institution. In this way we can help you save time.
